athp / ath10k or the Atheros QCA6174

It appears that many chips like the Atheros/Qualcomm QCA6174 are
supported on FreeBSD by the athp or the ath10k. But in some
7 years now, neither of those drivers have come to fruition.
Are there any plans to complete either of these? Or is there
a different option for these chips?
