The question might be what is the difference in USB version and chipsets?  It's
(hopefully) very unlikely that a PCI card with leak net80211 state to the USB
device (if that'd be the case we'd have a lot more trouble).

It my also be a question of that the AP advertises, the RSSI and other
paramters...
