i'm closing this bug since it's become confused with multiple, unrelated issues
posted by different people.

IPv6 definitely works over a bridge, including via tap devices.

if anyone has issues with this, please post to the freebsd-net mailing list, or
file a new bug if you have a specific, reproducible issue.
