In rc.conf I have this for part of my dual stack config on bhyve host

ifconfig_bridge0_ipv6="inet6 -ifdisabled auto_linklocal accept_rtadv"

linux bhyve guests using taps on the bridge get static ipv4 I manually set
within the vm and automatically get ipv6 via slaac
