Welp. I just tried again with Rocky 9.6 as well as Alma 9.6 and both came up
just fine. I have no idea why I couldn't boot 9.5 or 9.6 before when testing.
But, I suppose it's not an actual problem anymore.

I guess that's the last of the issues reported here as fixed or cannot be
fixed. For me, I'd say go ahead and close this PR as there seems to be nowhere
else to go with it. Thanks!
