--- Comment #86 from Tomasz "CeDeROM" CEDRO <tomek@cedro.info> ---
Okay, so I got another weekend outside, had some more conditions to test:

1. Modem does not always connect to LTE, even though my mobile phone has the
internet connectivity. Restarting interface, reseting usb device, etc, does not
help. Once the connectivity is lost it is not regained again on its own.

2. Actually I did not get any connection over the UMBIM modem this weekend :-(
I had to use wifi from the phone ap. In theory modem connects to the nerwork
(Orange), the IP tunnel is set up (two IP addresses on the ifconfig where
internal responds to ping but the other does not), but no outgoing ping (i.e.
to 1.1.1.1 nor 8.8.8.8) was achieved.

3. My SIM has disabled PIN check. But before I made sure of that there was no
way to see if the PIN is required, was the pin entered correct, do I need to
enter PUK, etc. Something like the AT commands in U3G modem seems to be missing
here in UMBIM. This is observation from last weekend I did not mention sorry.
But this weekend such test utilities would come even more handy.

Thanks :-)
Tomek
