Module goes to M.2 slot and shows as USB device:
ugen0.3: <Sierra Wireless EM7590 Mobile Broadband Adapter Sierra Wireless,
Inc.> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=ON (224mA)

We use it only to connect internet with mpd, don't know about other
functionality. You can get manuals from manufacturer web site.
