https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=287813 --- Comment #20 from Tomasz "CeDeROM" CEDRO <tomek@cedro.info> --- Hello world :-) I am also looking for working wireless solution for videoconferencing on FreeBSD so I purchased second hand Jabra Evolve 75 and Jabra Link 370 and 380C dongles (~100EUR). To my surprise two dongles work out of the box even with microphone working!! I did not have than before with any jbl, k&m, creative, dongles, even with raw bluetooth virtual_oss audio. The headset was delivered with Link 370 paired already with the headset, so it connected and works out of the box after plugging in to the FreeBSD. The Link 380 needs pairing first to work with the headset. This requires a Win/Mac machine with Jabra Direct application. After that it also works out of the box with microphone on my FreeBSD. Evolve 75 also connects with my phone so I can use PC and Phone at the same time. Have not seen that for a long time :-) The Link 380 does not have latest firmware but I did not update it to verify the issues reported. I did not notice these issues here. Jabra Link 380 current firmware 1.15.0, latest firmware 1.16.0. Jabra Link 370 current and latest firmware 1.87.0. Jabra Evolve 75 current and firmware 2.38.0. So this may be firmware issue on your side JRO. Please let us know how things work after firmware update. Regarding open-source applications I found only two: 1. https://github.com/lalmeras/jabra_link_370 - this one detects only 370 dongle but I was not able to do everything like pairing or firmware update, may need some updates to work on FreeBSD. 2. https://github.com/Watchdog0x/jLink - this one is written in Go but requires root to install by shell script so I did not run that. Also "update for JLink is coming soon" message may indicate Link is not yet supported only headset. I have provided a feedback to Jabra that they start supporting Open-Source platforms, specifically mentioning FreeBSD, that all works here except we need Win/Mac application to setup which is painful. Please provide feedback to them too so they maybe support us one day :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
