The driver included for using iPhone’s USB tethering (ipheth) doesn’t work
without usbmuxd port which is not included in the downloadable installer
images, results in users being unable to install needed packages if they can’t
use ethernet or WiFi. There’s a scenario that they can get a network interface
working if they install a port and they can’t because without usbmuxd they
can’t connect to their iPhone’s USB tethering.
