Can you also get me:

procstat -akk

When the issue happens?

I cannot find any errors in there. Maybe the log was truncated, but I can see
the XHCI is working on some USB transfers. Maybe in some kind of a loop ...

Sometimes you need to do:

sysctl kern.consmute=1

To get all prints in /var/log/messages .
