Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> has asked freebsd-uboot (Nobody)
<uboot@FreeBSD.org> for maintainer-feedback:
Bug 295548: sysutils/edk2: no longer PXE boots after latest update to 202508
under bhyve
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=295548

--- Description ---
This is an example (not my actual config)!

Runinng:
bhyve -s 0,hostbridge -s 1,lpc -s 2:0,virtio-net,tap3 -H -P -m 1G -l
bootrom,`pwd`/BHYVE_UEFI.fd -l com1,/dev/nmdm3A foo

no longer PXE boots but complains that it cannot find a device:

BdsDxe: No bootable option or device was found.
BdsDxe: Press any key to enter the Boot Manager Menu.

Going back to an older BHYVE_UEFI.fd the problem goes away immediately.

Can someone please check the latest update and see what broke as PXE booting
development machines or recovery images is quite an important feature.
