This bugzilla submittal being closed or not,
providing the port options, make.conf, and
src.conf could be important to learning just
how specific to your context the problem might
be.

Say that someone put those in place and tried using
portmaster for the sequence of 2 port-packages
identified --but got a successful build. That would
tend to make more likely to be very specific to your
system configuration --some other part of the
configuration.

If the problem instead reproduced, then there would
be a reproducible context to see what could be
eliminated as a contributor (while still getting the
failure), making the overall problem space smaller
for other explorations.
