https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=268630 --- Comment #18 from Mark Millard <marklmi26-fbsd@yahoo.com> --- (In reply to Vincent Milum Jr from comment #17) I'll note that FreeBSD releases, snapshots, and the like do not use sysutils/u-boot-rpi4 at all. There is a sysutils/u-boot-rpi-arm64 that is used instead. sysutils/u-boot-rpi-arm64 used to work for both RPi3B and RPi4B generally, as I remember. That was its intent, instead of having rpi3 and rpi4 as separate: FreeBSD got from upstream. But asof now old Revision 1.1 RPi4B's with 4 GiBytes of RAM are known to not be able to use a microsd card plugged into the slot, blocking booting from microsd cards. More modern RPi4B's work for that, at least what was tested. It may be that other forms of old Revision 1.1 RPi4Bs do not work. All that was tested was what some folks happened to have around. I have access to examples of both working and not working for the microsd card slot for RPi4B's. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
