Thanks for the investigative journey so far!

Just do add, I just pulled
https://download.freebsd.org/snapshots/ISO-IMAGES/13.2/FreeBSD-13.2-PRERELEASE-arm64-aarch64-RPI-20230204-d07eb716f35d-254363.img.xz
(which comes with 2023.01 U-Boot) and the boot log is identical to mine above.
Which means that the snapshot is broken.
