Dear FreeBSD Community,

We are thrilled to announce a truly historic day for the
Russian-speaking FreeBSD community!

As of today, the translation of the entire FreeBSD documentation set
into Russian has reached 100% completion on the Weblate platform!
This remarkable achievement is the direct result of the incredible
dedication, passion, and collaborative effort of our volunteer
translators (and paid translation services). Every commit, every
suggestion, and every reviewed string has contributed to this momentous
goal. This milestone makes the powerful and reliable FreeBSD operating
system more accessible than ever to Russian speakers worldwide, lowering
the barrier to entry and helping to build a stronger community.

While the initial translation is complete, our work to ensure the highest
quality continues. The next phase involves community-wide proofreading,
peer review and commits. We encourage everyone to participate in this
crucial process on Phabricator to check the translations and ensure they
are accurate and consistent.

How you can help:

Review: Check the translated strings and suggest improvements or confirm
existing ones, approve the translation.

Commit to Repository: Finally, the approved changes are committed to the
official FreeBSD documentation repository.

Spread the Word: Let other Russian-speaking BSD enthusiasts know that the
documentation is now fully available in their native language.

Join the effort on our Weblate and Phabricator platforms:

Phabricator https://reviews.freebsd.org

This is a cause for celebration and a testament to the power of
open-source collaboration. Thank you to every single contributor who made
this dream a reality.

Sincerely,

Vladlen Popolitov
Russian translation team.
