For me it always fails. With clang 19, it gives "Aborting!: out of memory",
while with later versions it segfaults.

Bisecting shows that this behavior changed with

("[InstCombine] Infer nusw + nneg -> nuw for getelementptr (#111144)"), which
is a fairly small commit to
llvm/lib/Transforms/InstCombine/InstructionCombining.cpp, but with lots of
consequences for llvm test cases.

I'm out of time now, but will investigate a bit more later on.
