I'm closing this as it is not a ports bug. brooks explained that
-fms-compatibility disables __GNUC__ which breaks FreeBSD's sys/cdefs.h. This
flag is not supported on FreeBSD, and the upstream xray project's
recommendation to use it is incorrect for this platform.
