I am closing this bug because the OOM failures on armv7 are an inherent 32-bit
address space limitation, not a toolchain bug. Both antoine@ (pkg builder
maintainer) and marklmi26 explained that aarch64 chroot for armv7 has
approximately 2-3 GiB process size limits, which is expected behavior for
32-bit architectures. There is no actionable fix at the toolchain or ports
level.
