If yes, what do you propose that 32-bit systems do
instead for managing linking without running out of
resources easily? armv7 stays supported as Tier 2
in FreeBSD 15.*-RELEASE once there is such.

Or may be you are hoping that some way of handling
32-bit contexts has been put in place upstream,
making the patch redundant?

Logic that only applies to <= 32-bit systems should
not interfere-with/change-anything for systems with
more than 32-bits.
