I cannot reproduce the setup as described here, as there are no riscv packages.
I do see the segfault in a riscv qemu vm, but I lack the tools to usefully
debug.

Given that the panic seems to go away as I insert printfs I'm inclined to
believe this is more likely to be a riscv tooling issue than a pf problem.
