I think not. The last (undeclared!) screenshot from you that I
see is the following message:

   Date: Sat, 10 Jan 2026 21:08:09 +0000
Subject: Re: Thunderbird not working for me with gmane
   Message-ID: <acb92a96-0681-4678-b021-90a9acc57d9f@gmail.com>

It has a screenshot of the news.gmane.io NNTP settings
(seemingly correct), but does not show your e-mail address,
which is also required for Gmane to work.

Messages sent via Gmane (rather than directly by e-mail) can be
distinguished by the presence of this header:

   X-Injected-Via-Gmane: http://gmane.org/

shown both via NNTP and on in the actual e-mail. For example,
the following post by Mark was submitted via Gmane, as seen from
its raw text:

   HTML: <https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-test/2026-January/000344.html>
   RAW : <https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-test/2026-January/000344.txt>

Your messages, Graham, are multi-part ones with some sort of
encryption keys, e.g.:

   RAW: <https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-test/2026-January/000350.txt>

has:

   Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
   Autocrypt: addr=grahamperrin@gmail.com; keydata= ...

As this is somewhat non-standard, I recommend testing with the
simplest and plainest message format possible, cf. my messages:

   Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
   Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

-- no encryption or multipart contents.
