I got that wrong: sending to the list requires the likes
of freebsd-test@freebsd.org be listed as well as well as
the likes of gmane.os.freebsd.test . The one that went
through this morning had a freebsd-test@freebsd.org but
I had not noticed it at the time.

Progress anyway.
