ixl reports an insane number of Idrop

hi,
this is a very resent Freebsd-15.1  - but the issue is not new - immediately after boot the
Idrop count is 4294966372 and static. Event after upgrading the firmware the issue is there,
it does not seem a problem, but annoying.
