No, I have just tried this for the first time after reading this thread.
The machine I have here is not in production yet (but I am glad to find
showstoppers like this in advance :-).

I will ask them if this is something that they can/should fix. Is that the
case? "Unsupported enclosure interface" looked to me like there are
chances that something is missing on the FreeBSD side.
