Don't know what is wrong but there are many desktop related packages 
missing in Quarterly and some even in the Latest. I tried to pkg upgrade 
my desktop the last week and stopped it after I realized there are too 
many orphaned packages.

As can be seen on Freshports (there is a table of package version 
available for each release and arch combination) there are no GNOME for 
14 amd64
https://www.freshports.org/x11/gnome

There is XFCE for 14 Latest but is missing for Quarterly
https://www.freshports.org/x11-wm/xfce4/

Many other packages I need are also missing. Current state of packages 
for desktop oriented FreeBSD is really bad.
