I'm closing this as the only patch is obsolete and there has been no activity
since January 2020. The issue involves portmaster and rubygem dependency
declarations (RUN_DEPENDS vs LIB_DEPENDS), and both se@ and meta@ discussed
potential fixes in gem.mk and portmaster but neither was carried through. The
rubygem framework has likely evolved since then.
