I mean, I *know* that stuff has changed, because I was tracking the issues and
pull requests in question, periodically following up on them in various
channels and talking to others about them. I know for a fact that changes were
made to Rust with the intent that the end result be FreeBSD 12 being the ABI
used, and that the upstream devs would view any cases where that is not the
case as a bug. I am not saying that it is definitely fully fixed. But I am
saying that the intent is that it has been fixed, and that is a change compared
with when this bug report was originally filed.

Like I say, please try it out, and if it fails, give details on exactly what
failed. Not a one-line error message, but the full context that allows us to
pinpoint *why* it failed. Because, as I say, there is a good chance that the
bootstrap binary being used is the problem, not the upstream source, and that
all that's left to do is build and upload a new one.
