I am pretty sure that nothing has changed with the Rust devs and not
much has improved. However to verify that things are still borked I will
do the usual builds and see what breaks. Again. This will take all week
long to get a result. The package build of Rust on the RISC-V hardware
is horrific in that the SiFive UnMatched Rev B board is "unmatched" in
the hand crank slow department. Oh please I want my P550 running FreeBSD.

I think the last time I tried ... well let's just look at the logs :

build of lang/rust | rust-1.88.0 ended at Wed Jul 23 15:19:47 UTC 2025
build time: 6D:11:41:54

Yeah. So that is six days and about 12 hours for a successful pkg
with the old COMPAT11 stuff in there. That is *after* the LLVM
stuff gets done and *after* the whole buildworld/buildkernel.

To answer your question I will need two weeks or more.

Tune in about middle of September and maybe we will know.
