https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=269782 --- Comment #4 from Dan Mahoney <freebsd@gushi.org> --- (In reply to Mina Galić from comment #1) Hey Mina, I'm going through my old PR's and I saw your suggestion. (I am `send-pr` years old). I'm sorry it's been a while. I know people seem to love Github, but it's got some dumb misfeatures. For example: I have a patch file here. I can go into my github repo and fork the freebsd-src project, but you know what I *can't* do in the github web UI? Apply a patch. (I also can't *view* a patch file that someone submitted to me in an issue -- it just forces a download to my own machine). So, I need to, in addition to forking the repo, clone my fork of it onto my own machine, apply the patch, push the patch up to my own github repo, create a pull request, explaining once again why this is a reasonable idea. *or* I could manually reapply this patch by hand on the github UI. Those both seem pretty clunky (and about equal amounts of wasted time), but I guess I'll do one of them, in the interest of trying to give the project what it wants. Do I then request that this PR be closed out? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
