Good evening, I apologise, this is slightly off topic but also kinda not? It is a question, and it is freebsd, and I couldn't really find a better place to ask it so I choose to stick it here (please don't moderate me :P) I have been discussing Linux meetups a lot as a substitute for BSD as there is no BUGs (BSD User Groups) left in the UK (at least none that I can find publicly). Most LUGs are dead as well in the UK, and hackerspaces have become engineering focused and pretty much abandoned open source/Linux/BSD, which leaves a whole lot of nothing. Recently, one of the LUGs I follow had a user try to revive meetups there. I thought if they could do it, why not try for BSD too? There used to be a UK FreeBSD mailing list, however the domain is now gone and the list disappeared without any warning, I was originally going to ask this there, but due to lack of better list to stick it on, I have come here. Is anyone interested in attempting a BSD meetup somewhere in London, likely a pub (open to suggestions) and see how it goes from there? Feel free to offlist, XMPP is within the email signature, and my nick is polarian on libera.chat and efnet. Again, apologies if I stuck this in the wrong place, didn't know anywhere better to ask.
