From what I can see, they're only available for Windows, and the only system installed in my laptop at the moment is FreeBSD. This is why almost all my computers dual-boot. I virtually never use Windows but it's handy to keep it around for things like firmware updates. This morning, I rebootked into a long-idle copy of Win10 just to make a ChromeOS Flex bootable USB for a colleague, for instance. There are other ways. _Some_ modern firmware can load an update file from a FAT-formatted medium -- such as the UEFI system partition, conceivably -- and install it from there. Or, maybe, from a USB key. Or you could try booting into a live Windows medium such as Hiren's Boot CD. https://www.hirensbootcd.org/ -- Liam Proven ~ lproven@sitpub.com Open Source Reporter, the Register ~ https://www.theregister.com/ Isle of Man tel: +44 7624 227612 ~ UK tel: +44 7939 087884 (*not* 24x7) Czech tel: +420 702 829 053 (also WhatsApp/Telegram/Signal)
