These 10G SFP+ NICs that I have just purchased (from amazon.ca)
and installed (on 14.2) are working so far. They are both
Intel 82599 based and use the ix driver:

Card 1:
GLOTRENDS ST7315 10Gb SFP+ Ethernet Network
Card with Intel 82599EN Controller, PCIE 2.0 X4 Interface

Also, these work:

Card 2:
10Gtek for Intel E10G42BTDA 82599ES Chip 10GbE Ethernet
Converged Network Adapter X520-DA2/X520-SR2, PCI-E X8 Dual
SFP+ Port

The NICs aren't purely RJ45, but with these RJ45 copper
SFP+ modules:

Modules:
10Gtek 1.25/2.5/5/10G-T SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Module -
10GBase-T Transceiver for Cisco SFP-10G-T-S Ubiquiti
unifi UF-RJ45-10G D-Link Supermicro Broadcom Linksys
up to 30m Pack of 2

they work well with my existing infrastructure.

The only caveat is that you must ensure the motherboards
have the proper number of PCIe lanes in their slots.
I.e. the dual port needs 8 lanes and the single port
seems to need 4 lanes, so plan accordingly.
