Yes, I did.
I thought I had all this in my head.
freebsd-update upgrade -r 15.0-RELEASE; freebsd-update install; reboot;
freebsd-update install; reboot
I must have forgotten about the last reboot, because after it, some issues
resolved themselves.

 I did that and nothing was returned as there was nothing more to be
installed.

I did portupgrade -a, and things seem to have all gone well, but not
installing qemu-guest-agent is giving me grief about some libs.
I did a backup of my VM before upgrading so if these troubles persist, I
will just restore and wait for 15.1
