problems upgrading python as per /usr/local/UPDATING, sqlite error

I'd like to use python314.
Following the instructions in UPDATING regarding python,

pkg set -p -n py312-:py314-
Do you want to batch replace 'py312-' in package name with 'py314-'?[y/N]: y
pkg: sqlite error while executing update packages set name = replace(name, 'py312-', 'py314-') where name glob '*py312-*' in file pkgdb.c:2832: UNIQUE constraint failed: packages.name
