I am closing this bug because it was specific to Python 3.7 as the default
version conflicting with calibre's Python 3.8+ requirement. Python 3.7 has been
EOL since June 2023 and removed from the ports tree, making this scenario
impossible to reproduce. The current default Python versions are all 3.9+.
