I am closing this because lang/python38 has been removed from the ports tree --
Python 3.8 has reached end of life. The threading fixes identified by
kai@FreeBSD.org were backports of upstream commits that are already included in
Python 3.9+. The separate py3.9 crashes discussed later in the thread appeared
to be related to lxml, not the Python port itself.
