Changing the default Python version means every FreeBSD user who has a
Python-flavored leaf package installed will have to manually edit their package
database to make the jump.  Most of them won't even know they need to until
`pkg upgrade` blows up.  Doing this just to replace one obsolete, insecure
Python version with another obsolete, insecure Python version is, to put it
mildly, unwise.  We have ten days until 2026Q3; let's use them productively.
