sysutils/nix maintainer timeout?

Hi,

2 weeks ago, I submitted a patch that fixes the compilation of the sysutils/nix port. This is my first time submitting a patch, so I'm unsure of the process. I read on the forums that I should wait 2 weeks, and then ask for help here.

Admittedly the fix is a bit of a workaround, but I noticed the port was marked for deletion, and I would like to keep using it.
