If I understand, 6.6 is still considered development. It should work fine tor Alder Lake-P systems, but, since it is new and has had limited testing on a wide array of platforms, it may not work as hoped. I plan on updating my Alder Lake (not -P) to 6.6 in a few days, but I have not gotten around to it. Also, it requires OSVERSION >= 1500023. You must explicitly install graphics/drm-66-kmod. I assume that drm-kmod will be bumped to 6.6 when there has been enough usage to feel confident that it is OK on all devices that are now running 6.1. I am not a developer, so I may not correctly understand the status of 6.6 and x11 is the place to get any answers. -- Kevin Oberman, Part time kid herder and retired Network Engineer E-mail: rkoberman@gmail.com PGP Fingerprint: D03FB98AFA78E3B78C1694B318AB39EF1B055683
