I support this as well as long is it doesn't also affect other options needed 
for plugins and things to work, such as the new vim-console still keeps things 
like perl, python3, ruby, etc...

I personally never use gvim and so cutting down on some of the bloat if not 
desired by the user is good in my opinion.
