A thin python client is exactly what would work perfectly for me
(right now I'm running Linux instead).

DEFAULT_VERSIONS+=              python=3.15 python3=3.15
...in /etc/make.conf

be a workaround that would work for now?

Do you already got it to function somewhere somehow?
