loosen here, tighten there...profit

i did not re-test with clang 21, nor am i sure
-Wno-error=unknown-warning-option became necessary here but that was just my
weak attempt to smooth the way for the next guy

i dont think -DNO_WERROR=1 is doing anything but i left that how i found it

-Wno-error=undefined-reinterpret-cast could negate
files/patch-src_Functions_if.cpp but yeah lets not be tempted lol
