I certainly would not let ver 32.1.2 into the 2026Q2 branch but it may
be worth testing on "main" in FreeBSD 16.0-CURRENT.  I am certainly
willing to give it a try.  Not sure if there is much of anything to
change in the Makefile but I bet the patchfiles are going to need a look
and a gentle hug. Maybe?
