Steps to Reproduce: Just start sysutils/plasma6-plasma-systemmonitor or add a monitoring widget= to the desktop or to a panel, ksystemstats will be automatically started. Actual Results: It starts with about 45MiB of resident memory usage, then slowly grows. This behavior is independent by the number of wigets used; even if all the widge= ts are removed (and with systemmonitor not in use) memory usage grows. Expected Results: Memory usage should settle instead of growing continuously. Additional Information: I tried creating a VM with the same FreeBSD and Plasma version to test in a clean environment, and the leak happens as well. For comparison, on KDE neon with the same Plasma, KDE Frameworks and Qt ver= sion the problem is not present. As a workaround I actually pkill it every two hours, so it restarts and doe= sn't grow memory usage too much.
