I am closing this bug because sysutils/bsd-splash-changer is fundamentally
incompatible with vt(4), which has been the default console driver since 2013
(replacing syscons). The port only works with the legacy syscons driver.
Additionally, the upstream WWW is dead and the maintainer (gamato@) has been
unresponsive. The port should be considered for DEPRECATED/removal rather than
having its documentation updated.
