I am closing this bug as obsolete. The cmake Kerberos detection issue was
reported against an older version of evolution-data-server; the port is now at
3.56.2. The reporter acknowledged having no patch, and there has been no
engagement from anyone in over 3 years. The cmake behavior has likely changed
with the many port updates since.
