I am closing this bug as outdated. The bug was filed against net/openbgpd
version 6.5, which has been superseded by versioned ports (net/openbgpd6, 7,
8). rene@ asked in May 2025 whether the issue persists in the current versioned
ports, and received no reply. The patch targets an obsolete version of the rc.d
script that is no longer in use.
