Fair point — no intent to fork. Any improvements would go upstream first; if
upstream doesn't accept them, they don't go in the port. Goal is
straightforward maintenance: keep it building, keep dependencies current.

Thanks for the himitsu-totp pointer — I'll look into porting that separately.
