I don't like this part:
.if ${MASTER_OPTIONS:MGTK2}
PORTVERSION=    3.21.0
.endif
.if ${MASTER_OPTIONS:MGTK3}
PORTVERSION=    4.3.1
.endif

GTK2 option isn't an option: it's different release version - very old version.
Look strange.

Default GTK2 mean that users of the binary packages have 3.21.0 only?
I don't see FLAVORS or SLAVE ports.
