Did updating signal-cli really end up fixing this issue? I am unable to
reproduce myself on 14.1.

Also updating signal-cli, mautrix-signal, or libsignal without all three is
very likely to break things. I will submit a patch updating everything to the
latest possible and add a note to the Makefiles.

ps Should the status be changed?
